I can't install VB 6.0 into Windows 7 or Windows 8..somebody told VB 6.0 supported by Windows xp only..is it true??can anyone give some solution.

Yes VB6 will get installed in Windows 7

Before starting the installation create blank dll file in folder :

C:\Windows

with name msjava.dll

You can create this using cmd.exe

Run cmd.exe as administrator and type:

copy nul C:\Windows\msjava.dll

Now give a try on installation 

By creating a dummy file we bypass the installation of Java and reboot
