Hey guys, I come to know following points about 3 valve and 4 valve engines.

3 valve engine has small and light weight valves. They were primarily introduced to improve improve air intake of the engine. 3 valve engine has  more combustion chamber area when compared with 2 valve engine.  Due to which area of intake port is increased that performs induction of more quantity of air-fuel mixture. Therefore efficient combustion takes place that results improves engine performance and power, throttle response and speed.

But 4 valve engine has more combustion area than 3 valve engine. Hence  better performance than 3 valve engine.
