Which file format are supported by 3D printing?

STL file formats are followed in most of the 3D printing technologies. STL means STereoLithography. STL is standard file format for 3D printing and it can be easily interfaced with CAD software. .STL files consists of only one colour. They represent 3D object in triangular shapes. 

Other file formats of 3D printing are .obj, .gcode, .vrml, .3MF, and  .AMF
