CRDI ( Common Rail Direct injection) system is a advanced technology in which uses common fuel rail to supply fuel to the injectors. It is used in diesel engines. In petrol engines it is referred to as GDI ( Gasoline Direct Injection). This technology helps to improve the performance of engine. Also it helps to reduce noise. In this type of systems combustion takes place into the combustion chamber located on the top of piston.
