My question is that can we use greenhouse gases in any stage of concrete production by which the amount of greenhouse gases in the air reduces and the process carried out by greenhouse gases in concrete, any stage or material of concrete production can be replaced?

The high contents of CO 2 released by its production (about 1 ton of CO 2 per ton of Portland cement) are mainly due to the grinding and burning processes, which require temperatures of about 1450 °C, in addition to the chemical decomposition of CaCO 3, one of the main raw materials. As a result, Portland cement accounts for >80% of the CO 2 emissions of concrete production, while the aggregates account for about 16%. An efficient way to reduce the cement content in concrete is by partially replacing the clinker by supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs)
