There are four Reasons in which why the Building Collapses:- 

1. The foundations are too weak.

2. The building materials aren't strong enough.

3. The load is heavier than expected.


4. The strength isn't tested.

 

Earthquake For Building Resistance:-

Buildings collapse in an earthquake because of the vibration of the ground.

So the tall buildings and even short buildings which do not have good foundation with ground can not sustain the vibration and fail.
