The scores are found to be varying suddenly, is there any changes made in the score allotment?

Actually we update the scoring pattern so that users get rewarded for their effort they take in finding answers.Yes ,there are some changes like,we have just increased marks if someone has answered,selected or upvoted for answers.

These changes are made for enthusiastic users like you.
