YES, The BET (Brunner-Emmet-Teller) method is the most common one for measuring surface area of nanomaterials...

Stephen Brunauer, P.H. Emmet and Edward Teller developed BET theory in 1938.

**Method:**

The BET method is based on adsorption of gas molecules on surface. The amount of gas adsorbed at the given pressure allows to determine the surface area.

**Application:**

1.Medical Implants

2.Filters

3.Cements

We have graphical representation for calculations on surface area from these devices(BET instruments).
