What is the difference between Watt and Volt ?

No. Watt and Voltage are not same. In Electricity Watt is the unit of Power and Volt is the unit for Voltage.

Now the relation between Voltage and Power is

Power = Voltage * Current or we can say Watt = Volt*Ampere

Example : If any Electric appliance is connected in 220 volt line and its consuming 2 ampere of current then the power its consuming is 220*2 = 440 Watt.

Or you can infer opposite way, If you buy a Incandescent lamp for example of rating 100Watt, 230 Volt, then while it will be in service it will consume/draw (100/230) = 0.43478 Ampere current.
