There has been speculation about The NSA could be hiding small snooping programs in, let's just say, a picture of a cute kitten or a fun Android game." So how can the average person ever know that what they download is the real picture or app with no hidden malware in it?

What is actually a BENWARE ?

Malware, short for malicious software, is any software used to disrupt computer operation, gather sensitive information, or gain access to private computer systems.

Benware Benign/benevolent software. The opposite of malware (malicious/malevolent software). A piece of software that is not malware. Not to be confused with anti-malware, i.e. anti-virus tools and such.

Now the question is about how to differentiate between the two.You can always consider two important and quick steps. That are :

1."Always" download apps from legitimate stores (like that means from companies like Google, Amazon, Samsung, or another major manufacturer or carrier.)

2.Install an anti-virus software in your device and frequently perform a quick scan.
